i felt the same, and then i got this response and i agree:

It’s an amazing bill and it’s outdoors the first time ever in Eugene downtown.

It costs a lot of money to put these events on.

And its a LOT of work. This lineup is not bedroom djs playing on turntables, its 3 state of the art acts who tour and create music permanently.


sometimes i TOTALLLLY swing left and i think ALL events should be for free, everyone should be on guestlists, wolrd peace shold ring from all corners of the earth.


then i swing right and im like, movies cost over 10$ at a theatre. its 2 hours

a 3000 person outdoor concert downtown on graduation night with pnuma live, sts9 live pa and bassnectar all crushing you through concert grade sound system, 20-30$ seems on the high end of fair to me.

10$ events in 200 person rooms are great but god man, how long do i have to do that 150 nights a year for????

ive actually been searching for more info on my own and havent found anything useful. im also "friends" with the event on myspace and theres nothing helpful there either. i guess ill ask it for answers via a pm.
im sure the whole thing is going to be fabulous but my work schedule is retahded and i dont know if i will even be able to go.
im wondering if since gates open at 4pm it will be an "early" night. like arent there noise pollution laws that say you cant have an outdoor concert, etc go past 11:00 pm?
