I want to apologize for all the shit talking lol, but i'm from LA. To tell you the truth I was the nicest kid ever in middle school until I joined Wind Ensemble as a trumpet player. All the older guys did was talk shit to us younger guys and throw corn nuts at us. Obviously, they tought me how to talk shit and eventually i was kickin' it with em throwing corn nuts lol. Anyways, this professor at UCSB was keeping tally of the methane bubbles around Santa Barbara's coast, I was one of the early scientists to make a correlation between the methane bursts and the obvious fact that guess what? "there are hella oil rigs drilling by the coast of Santa Barbara". Duh! In closing, Lorin makes good music and he should still make it, but I should be the one spinning it on vinyl, thats all. And when someday a kid comes and spins my music better than I can, then so be it, more love to him. BTW. I know what Peace Love Unity Respect is, but when you ask people to let you play a set nicely many times, and get disrespected by them letting people you taught spin before they let you spin then you kinda get sick and tired of it and start challenging the shit out of people until they treat you fairly. If you knew me in real life you'd know how PLUR I am, but apparently PLUR does not exist at the closing end of Burning Man when you're shit disappears and we all know most DJ's are dishonorable about their lineups. Its basically more about who you know and if you're a hot chick more than about talent and shear practice/hardwork from what my 24year old eyes have seen.
